Perfect Bonfire Night cocktail, with smoky mezcal and a smoked salt rim. Pair with fireworks and standing around in the cold 🎉

Tips

Although typically mezcal is a little smoky-er than regular tequilla, not all are. We have used a brand called Kochel, which is like a medium amount of smokey and very nice.

To get a finer salt rim, smash your salt up a little before dipping the glass in.

🛒Ingredients

50ml of a smokey mezcal

35ml freshly squeezed lime juice

35ml of Cointreau

Smoked salt

Lime to garnish and add to drink

📖Method

Coat the rim of your glass in lime juice and twist on a plate of smoked salt.

Add ice to a cocktail shaker and pour in mezcal, Cointreau & lime juice.

Add a couple segments of fresh lime and a pinch of smoked salt.

Shake shake shake it.

Add ice and a slice of lime to your glass

Pour the smokey margarita through a sieve and enjoy!
